Highway Church

Highway Church for worship, then Orientation

Worldview & Cultural Orientation at EM Base
In this session we will examine how God has blessed the continent of Africa. Then we will turn to a paradox: Why, if Africa is the wealthiest continent on the face of the earth in terms of her natural resources, is she also the most impoverished? What lies at the root of this quandary?

We will also look at the concept of worldview. In addition to seeing how worldview works, this session also explores the fundamental building blocks of culture. Satan lies not only to individuals, but also to nations. We look specifically at how he uses two wrong worldviews – secularism and animism – to lead whole cultures down the pathway of bondage, underdevelopment, poverty and destruction. He replaces Kingdom building blocks of culture with his counterfeit building blocks, resulting in the impoverishment and enslavement of nations.

Cape Town Mission

Friday April 16

Visit some of Cape Town’s most famous destinations. Table Mountain has spectacular views over the city and the ocean. Weather is always a deciding factor for the visit. Camps Bay is an upmarket, scenic suburb of Cape Town, South Africa, renowned for its stunning white-sand beach, vibrant promenade, and dramatic views of the Twelve Apostles mountains. Hout Bay is a seaside town in the Western Cape. It is situated in a valley of the Cape Peninsula, and is part of the City of Cape Town metro area.

Saturday April 17

Bottleary Farm Outreach is a Helping Angels & Chikara Support Initiative. The Bottelary Primary School, may seem like your average school, but it is a far cry from all things normal. Hundreds of the pupils come from various farms in the neighboring Bottelary, Stellenbosch, Cape Town area. The reality is that most of these children walk for miles to get to school and most do not even have a meal for lunch during school hours or for the day infact. Since no child can ever learn on an empty tummy, it was a dire necessity to establish a feeding scheme.

Boulders Beach is one of Cape Town’s most visited beaches and the only place in the world where you get close to African penguins.

Sunday April 18

Worship at Logos Christian Church, Cape Point.

Monday April 19

Outreach Shiloh ECD:  Shiloh’s Outreach Ministry offers community support, including meetings and meals for those facing life-controlling issues. The ministry focuses on healing and empowerment through faith-based outreach.
